Does anyone know if a software auto bmp counter exist. I had one once which was fully automated.. No dodgy clicking to the beat. But cant find it now. I had it about 5 yr ago.. Any helps appreciated.

Mix Vibes Pro calculates BPMs automatically. It's also an excellent piece of mixing software.

I find the best way is to sample a loop from the track in sound forge.
