i dont no whether anyone ever gets this...but see sometimes...do you ever hear a song so closely realted to something that hearng it just rushes back every memory, detail, taste etc in an instant!
for example...i found an old folder with songs i havnt heard in a while and stuck them in a playlist...
to my astonnishment when i came back into the room, what was playing but 'kate ryan - scream for more'
IMO an amazing song.....but its really weird and surreal...its the song i always had on whenever i and my ex wer ever in my house together and it brought me right back to the time at the very start of our times wen we wer dead imature and, well,i dont even no how to explain it...almost as tho my feelings wer like a million times more for her then...it was back when we wer still in between roaming the streets together and making a point of bein out and like drunk together,or wood dog skool and go to my house, where we'd drink and that song was always on....jst cant understand how i could hav forgoton feeling this strongly about anything...cant believe i forgot it!
i dont mean to get all scary and deep on everyone...but that was super weird and its never happned...(under any influence)...and i just thot if i wrote it down id make sence of it.....nope!!
rite back if you hav an idea wot im on about whatsoever...id like to think im not going mad!!!

you mean like nostalgia? if you do then yeah course... i think eveyone does.
thats what music is for... to awaken your senses...
i think its pretty safe to everybody has a song that makes them cry, makes them smile, makes them stop and think, or whatever...

I do A level psychology and its because memories and feelings are context dependent and so the music acts like a cue to bring forward these emotions (just trying to sound smart lol!) But yeh I know EXACTLY what u mean zippy. The song for me is 'orion - see me here', amazin song but makes me want to cry as it reminds me of my ex.

yeah i think i get what ya mean...like nostalgia mentioned before,a song that contains something, vocals,a beat...some sort of sound, anything i guess, but it triggers something in your mind, gets ya ticking, maybe even brings back a memory, for me it would have to be Martika-Toy Soldiers...reminds me of my childhood and just the tone the lyrics are sung in
