if they were its a bit silly, as Re Con clearly should have been a pic disk i dont see Cutting Deep or Clear Vu being a pic disk, ahh Clear Vu im so bored of it, and You're My Angel is boring now also these are 28,31 and 32 were the best ones out the 6 anyway..............

Hixxy did it last year, releasing 24,25 before 22. Might be pressing problems etc

Sounds like pressing problems... hence another reason why RB has been delayed.

Silver.. You know better than me, but if RB has pressing problems and all, why not switch to a new distributor.. I know alpha magic had probs, but it only seems to be RB not churning out the tracks.

Hixxy presses the records all at the same time... so you have say 8 releases and lets say they press 1,000 records on the first run... that is 8,000 peices of vinyl... that would weight about 3-4 tones :) This is one guy remember :)
It's not actually the distributors fault here, Hixxy does his own pressing not the distributor so technically it's the pressing companies fault... You also don't do your sleeve or label printing in the same place as the pressing plant so you might also have to insert 8,000 peices of vinyl into a color sleeve before sending the vinyl to the distributor... all this for one person.
Pressing is still an analogue progress so it's not easy, ask any label about pressing there are always problems.

Which is why they do test presses with small runs of about 30 or so. If theres any problem with the test presses they then have to have new plates made. Then the whole process of pressing starts again.

Wow, did'nt know they had to press the covers separatly.. Maybe thats why so few hardcore labels have covers.. I can imagine it, Hixxy, Re-con, U.F.O, Breeze and Styles all in a room doing the exciting task of putting records in covers with the latest Bonkers playing to keep them from goin insane:)

What are 29 and 30 going to be?
Is You're my Angel and Getting Better going to be coming out on Raver Baby?
