or, be narrowminded and be like the people that everyone talks about, just like how newbies talk about how people hate hardcore. big deal. think about how many hardcore songs were once chart topping rock and roll songs, or chart topping pop songs, then someone got this brainy idea to do whats called a crossover. so breeze and styles wants to make some cash, thats why they are in the music business
don't stand and stare, just kick your legs in the air

^^ what if SB went bats**t crazy and decided to make some money by making Boomstick into a commercial dance tune ?! would you still be beind the man?! I think its great that B&S are making money, but I wouldnt want hardcore to twist into something totally different from its roots

I was thinking about this the other day... and it's really simple
Question: When is a trance version of a hardcore tune a hardcore tune?
Answer: NEVER!
So of course you don't like the other versions, because it's not hardcore :)
If you don't like a song don't listen to it, that is why they make remixes, everyone has their own tastes.... bitching about it aint gonna change anything :)

In fact they are doing more than some narrow minded individuals in the hardcore scene can see!!!, By introducing the trance versions to the comercial scene they have opened the eyes of hundreds if not thousands of non hardcore clubbers!!! I am a raver and by all accounts i can't say a bad thing about what they are doing!!! There will always be an underground scene for those of us who don't like the more comercially viable stuff but for me hardcore stands for PEACE LOVE AND UNITY TO ALL!!!!!!! So come one come all and enjoy the feeling of total freedom be it at HTID Absolute or a comercial trance night at the WORKS. I'm here for the music and the freedom it gives me to be 100% ME.
I say well done to everybody at A A T W and fair play for the vid it is sh*t hot
I like you! So glad to hear someone speak sense, I couldn't have said it better myself!
m_j I like you too! Another reasonable raver who can appreciate all the joy these guys have brought to us over the years, and it's about time they got some good recognition for their work as well as showing the world how great hardcore is!
djritalin - love it! Tell it like it is and put it in perspective for these fools!
whittle1 & Sk8SiM - you are the kind of rude narrow minded people that give hardcore a bad name. Utterly disgusting attitudes, the pair of you.
zelachang - "but I wouldnt want hardcore to twist into something totally different from its roots" - that won't happen. Hardcore will remain hardcore, pop music will remain pop music. Only difference is that the commercial world who can't accept hardcore will still get to enjoy the wonderful tunes we all love, just in a way that won't make the poor luvvies ears bleed.
Oh, back to the thread topic - last I heard it looks like "You're My Angel" will be the next chart release for Styles & Breeze. Beautiful tune!
