by the way, I think what all of you lot are referring to is Industrial Hardcore, not gabba per se, since gabber is more kind of trashy and more "repetitive", at least thats what Ive found.

i just dont really "get it". I can listenen to a bit of it at home but nuthin too extreme. When the gabba comes on at the end of a set, thats usually the time for me to go 2 the bar or sit down n chill 4 a bit.
I like the odd tune tho, Boomstick was good, and some other tune that goes something like "You f**k my night up ima f**k up your day"

When the door bell goes, why do dogs always think its for them??

That's 'DJ Nosferatu - Have It Your Way', I like that as well, despite the swearing. I'm not keen on tunes with swearing and vulgar lyrics, I prefer tunes you can play in front of your Gran without her getting offended. LOL

I'm totally addicted to 'Scott Brown - A Few Moments' now, I just can't stop listening to it.

It's okay. I have a hard time listening to it but then I"m not too familiar with it either. I'll just keep listening to gabber and see if I like it a year from now.

I'm not so keen on the new style gabber.. A lot of it is way too slow for a beat that heavy!! (Dutch need to pick up the pace a bit like the English:).. I like the 90s style gabba.. Like the stuff on Pengo, Waxweazle, Trashcan records.. Spellbound used to make some wicked gabba.. Same with some of Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theos stuff, yes they did'nt only make happy tunes.. V.A.G.A.B.O.N.Ds gabba is brilliant!!

^^ ^^ Charlie Lownoise and Mental Theo "The Bird" = TUNE mid 90's bouncy techno and happy gabba's the business was what i first listened to get into hardcore on the old rezerection and hangar 13 ( ayr not sunderland ) tapes.

Venga familia!!!
