Hi all. Just wondering if anyone has the Technics SL-DZ1200 deck cuz I want to know how it is before I spend a butt load on it and I'd like to know how close it is to a regular TT. Is it fun? Worth it?

Funny you should mention them because i was at a party the other night, where a there was a club dj, and he had technics 1200's =p

Not really having a great knowledge of these things i can't really compare, but everyone seemed to be amazed that he had got his hands on them, and they diod look and sound great =p

i messed with them before, also the new numark cd decks with the vinyl on top.

i still prefer the pioneer cdj 1000 mkII.

techs for vinly, pioneer for cd.

but use what you feel comfortable with.

Cool Thanks guys!! I have always used Technics 1210's for a long time and my newest ones are the MG5's but I thing I'm just afraid to try a different brand. I don't really have any other DJ friends so I can't excactly "try" any unless there's a store that let you.
