Sharkey = one of the main reasons that we're all still here...... he has provided some of the main foundations for the scene. Without him there wouldn't have been a toytown! Isn't he also the father (or one of the main men) of trancecore/chemical/freeform/whatever you want to call it?.

Think it's pretty much what mortis said the style in that area tends to be more scouse house and happy hardcore than freeform. Think you'd get a similar reaction in glasgow or the north east to be honest just whats became popular in certain places. But the guy is tremendous love his mc'ing aswell one of the only ones who proper gets into it on stage creates a party.

Sharkey is the king how can any1 not like him! you must be crazy he used to mc at Rhythm Station where i used to go(back in the old days) which was in Aldershot and everyone loved him his chants ruled and still do (he also helped me once when i had a bad asthma attack in rhythm station and he got me an inhaler and sat with me till i was ok!!!) TOP BLOKE!!! he is hardcore

Can't forget that Sharkey has been pushing to help the music evolve for years, and that has helped to keep hardcore alive IMO.
