http://www.angelfire.com/music6/the_fourth/index.html The Fourth - Sort Sorry for the low volume, haven't figured out how to get it louder without the sound clipping. Feedback is definitly welcome. Enjoy ---------------------------- |read|between|the|lines|

Hmm the beginning sounds weird, but after the beat comes, its okay. I think the beat has to be harder. I know that happy hardcore beats are not always hard, but yours is very soft. It reminds me to trance and not hardcore (but perhaps you wanted to make trance, who knows? ;)
I like the melodies. I think you also should use a harder bass line. Eventually the bass line sounds okay if the bass would be harder.
I would insert more stuff in the background. It fills out the track. I always add stuff to my tracks that you don't hear in the foreground.
I also would make the track shorter at the end. You don't need just the bass at the end (the last 20 secs) you could easily also just end the track at 6:21. I always got the problem that my first songs were too long, like about 7 minutes. I think shorter but more is better :)
I hope you understand my weird english :D And keep working on it! (or your next track) its definately better than my third track!

I love Happy Hardcore! But lots of people don't understand it... I feel sorry for them that they miss best music genre in da world.

Depending on the software you're using it sounds as though you need to run it through a
compressor.
The Kick & Bass separately. Then the main riff through another compressor.
Then the final mix.
Does that make sense?
Between the Earth and the Stars.
