We have a new backend system running at HappyHardcore.com, we are calling it v3. We had a lot of growth problems under the previous code base (basically Snitz is the worst piece of programming crap ever). At the moment we are in Alpha testing with a few select alpha testers testing the new site in a different location.
I was thinking of implementing a closed beta program where a larger group of people could test the new site but I am thinking it would cause more problems that good because both versions share the same database. There are some limitations on what I can fully implement in the database while keeping both versions running. So I think it best to just launch the new version straight up.
With that said as a user of the site you will not notice anything greatly new, most of the changes are fixes and upgrades to backend code to increase speed of the site (currently 300% faster) and to make sure things work (like search - which now works). The main reason for the change is so that we can further develop things for the site without having to reinvent the wheel everytime and to get rid of the Snitz code.
I will alert everyone when the changes take effect, there will be a warning post in here and on the news page I suspect, but I thought it's about time to let people know what the hell I have been upto for the past few months.
I will post a complete list of changes and corrections once the new site has launched.

^^^ Yes but a little later (a few months). We have to have a solid backend to keep things running smooth everywhere else. The site has been swapped with new users and new people coming into hardcore so we have to step up our backend to handle the load.
