Well if you don't win at least HappyHardcore.com attracts so many people that DJ's will download the tunes and play them at parties like at this link.
Anyone guess what tune is playing in the back?

Although DJ's technically should ask the artists if that is okay to play out as it is their own track still...
To avoid future problems I might make a DJ promo waver for the next competition (basically a condition on entry is that other DJ's can play it out live but can't sell it on CD... thoughts?

yeh that would be ok. BUT if there was a prize .. ie it was released then wouldnt want everyone already having a copy. Plus if someone makes a really good song they maybe able to get it out elsewhere .. and again wouldnt want everyone gettin a copy :)

We have sent alot of traffic to alot of people... more than 1 gig per entry... I have had to move and host on happyhardcore.com at least two of the entries myself... these are only for the period of the contest.
13 entries... 13+ gigs of traffic in less than 1 week... talk about exposure for the competition and artists that entered the comp :)
it's all hardcore.

There will be another competition? :) That would be really cool :)
And yeah, that sounds like a good idea. If they have the song downloaded they may aswell play it out if they want to :)
