I did a mix over the internet last night where every tune i played i hadn't listened to before. Wasn't that hard, coz the basic's of most of hardcore is the same.
When you suss out the basic time signature it's really easy.

i havent been mixing that long and am slowly getting there, i find it easier to mix after a few beers and somedays its gunna work and other times you may aswell just watch a nature program

what i do is listen to the start of the song im about to play in my head phones with the end of the other song and judge then i put it on

I need to get money for some decks - at the moment i'm stuck with eJay (if you have any tips to help me either make money or make a decen track on eJay that would be helpful - just pm me  )

I bought the numark battlepack 2 which cost just over £200. its got everything you need although the mixer is a little shite.

I got my decks (1210s) of ebay for £500 with a mixer which was a complete bargain, spent aorund £70 on headphones, upgrading my soundsystem this easter, and vinyl just keeps on making debts in my bank account...
