There seems to be a fair few youngsters out there who are supposedly hardcore fanatics, who bootleg stuff who are not real producers but just people who drop accapellas over a non vocal track, insist on the 'dj' prefix in their artist name for a bit of tired old street cred. I don't even see DJs using the DJ prefix much now, unless they have a short name (i.e DJ Die, DJ Sy) or are real turntablists that offer a lot more than a straight forward mix (i.e DJ Sy,DJ Hype, Although I've never seen Dodgee, Kevin Energy or Robbie Long use the prefix much) but remember that it is just an observation of which the results may be purely coincidential.
Mash ups? Breeze & Styles - Future Shining is a legally released one in my opinion, but is it O.K if they are not released? (like your personal dubplate for your set/cd or mp3 dubplate unless you are loaded) Looks like I need to start another topic soon.

Future Shining is amazing, i think they should release a 2005 version of Future set though, the tune sounded alot better in Future Shining than the original Future Set

Future Shining got a lot of grief but I though it was a pretty good track. You're right about the melody sounding better in future shining imo.

just had a look through all these posts and i fully agree dj rankin is complete camel scrot he couldnt mix his way out a nutsack nevermind glasgow lol and as for the whole chav thing lol nuthin wrong with it the folk that moan need there heads checked were all individuals at the end of the day if folk wanna get all up theresel about it let them there the nonses and as for the folk tht giive it a bad name sod them they are just the liitle people tht dont matter anyway hardcore is for everyone and everyone agrees because of this it will not and cannot ever die ................god dammit dj rankin sucks why dont folk try listenin to dj pulse hes another fellow scotsman who can atleast produce and mix a decent track if anyones heard some decent pulse stuff ul agree *breathes after long rant*
