either way his choice of rules help the hardcore scene, and it is, after all, his website.

Exactly and those are just my thoughts. I'm sure he won't let me be a member here much longer but that's okay.

Why are you trying so hard to pick a fight? Troll? That mix was played on Silvers radio, and your saying "dont comment on this thread"? Then you try to dig some excuses that have no relation to this issue. You want to talk about the rule about the originals? Fine, theres been at least 5 topics about it, the sticky being one of them. But dont use it as an excuse to your downloading, you cant justify your own actions cause of it.

I asked for track id's nothing more, nothing less. If ya don't have something useful to say then why say it? I'm not trying to justify the downloading of a mix nor pick a fight. Just don't be a hypocrit.

Hypocrite? Let me break this down for you... I hosted the Exposure Festival 2004, it was my mix you recorded... It was unbelievable difficult to get those artists to agree to come on (mind you this was before any other hardcore radio station really existed)... Did you ever stop to think why half the DJ's pulled out of the Exposure Festival the day before the event? Because they did not want 1000 people recording their sets... I can't stop people recording the station but it is totally frowned upon and is technically illegal... we try to keep the station as fresh as possible so there is no need for to listen to anything else... well hopefully :)
Now... I don't make all the hardcore tunes... they are made up of sometimes unlicensed samples from other songs, yeah that is bad in itself but don't mix the facts, you like hardcore I like hardcore, support hardcore artists... I don't give a shit about unlicensed acapellas from Britney Spears because I don't give a shit about Britney I care about hardcore artists.
Why do I have to defend myself all the time? People just look for excuses to pirate shit in front of the creators face... I mean... this is just a big F...
Just to clarify, we don't lock accounts based upon user opinion.
it's all hardcore.

protecting hardcore artists sampling from law suits = good, it helps the artists in a scene where making ends meet is very difficult.
protecting hardcore artists exclusive mixes from downloaders to encourage buying hardcore material instead of just downloading = good, it helps the artists in a scene where making ends meet is very difficult.
what was your point again?

You should beat it kid, it's f*cked that you would say something like that. You're on an uphill climb from here on out. People like you are not welcome within a friendly chat forum.
