I have no right of speach on this topic, since I don't know eighter of them :)
But the question whether it's Breeze &/or Styles or anyone else for that matter is a good one.
Here in holland, we also know the problem with our DJ's. Sometimes I get really depressed at parties because it sounds so repeatedly... The same drum, the same bass, the same tunes even...
So For a while I started listing to other colse styles, e.g. brittish happy hardcore (which now is my fav. But my friends hate me for it, hehehe) now, I'm listing to the dutch hardcore and the sounds have changed (a bit)...
Give it time, more time...
If it doesn't change, they are not the death of hardcore... THEY are not THE hardcore... We all are THE hardcore. It's the fans that make it for what it is... If no-one will buy their records, they've got to change something in their sound...
Sandra
If you can't beat them, don't join them, just be yourself...

Let me add my little story. Here in Hungary at the beginning we didn't know the nu-school british hhc. But that changed. A lot of my friends accused me, that this is trance rather than happy hardcore. I wouldn't say that! Bonkers 7, Hixxy's mix, now that was the point where hhc was becoming a trance, but fortunately they returned with a new, but not trancey sound, the nu-school hhc. The hhc-scene needed this renewal! And I would say that nu-school hhc is changing at the moment as well, listening to Euphoria or Vagabond, they are uniting the old hardcore sound with the new uplifting sound. I really love that! :)
