Ok, for about 2 years now I've been searching for a tape I used to have. I'm now thinking it was maybe not a very legal copy. But in desperation, I need to try to find it.
The first track was a cover of like a prayer, and the tape started with some backing music, which in typical style dies down for the words :
"Hey, these are the sounds of the vinylgroover.........let's have ya"
then the music kicks in.
The second track is shooting star, and thats pretty much all I can remember.
Please know, this tape got me into hardcore in the first place, (was mid-late 90's), and I soooooooooooooooooooo want to find it. Lost the tape about 2 years ago, and i'm still searching to this day. Any help from those in the know would be appreciated.

was it from a live party tapepack? if so, who threw the party?

omg ritalin, i wish i knew, i woulda been right out and bought it. I'm thinking it was a live tape pack,saw a few online that i'm gonna buy just in case.
I was more hoping someone would read the post and recognise what i've written from something they have and be able to tell me.
Still, many more people who can read this, and brady, cheers mate, i know who did the two tracks, though they were obviously mixed a bit...I'm after the full thing, thanks anyway though.

I think I know what your on about. Was it Helter Skelter Progression. it was in '97 (at the new year). And the Like A Prayer cover is on it, and shooting star. I'm not positive but I think it could be this Helter Skelter Progression
