One of the first records I bought was Force and Styles - Heart of gold got it home and it was a really crap club version :( managed to get the hardcore version soon after but i'm stuck with some crappy version I cant even give away.

Also I got a random 10 hardcore records for £5 from avid records in Oxford but you couldn't see what they were 9 of them were crap half them weren't even hardcore but luckily one of the records was Hocus Pocus 2 on Downtown Records which cheered me up a bit.

mine would be....

i bought a batch of vinyl from ebay. about 30 for £25 or sumfin. advertised as "hardcore and hardstyle as played by scott brown and mark eg"

i was a fool.... they were all crap cheesey remixes of things like, ppk - ressurection, barthezz - on the move, angelic - it's my turn etc.

only good thing is there are only 200 copies of each in the world. so when a day comes that someone wants those tunes on vinyl, i can charge and get my money back lol!

I've made some right bad purchases, especially in the house/trance buying days. The worst hardcore record I bought has gotta be one off e-bay, descibed as containing a Belinda Carlisle sample, now there is a wicked record that contains this (its true) but the piece of crap I bought certainly wasn't it. Straight to the back of the record box.

Check out my old skool style on www.hcore.fm every Tuesday 8-9.

Stomping as you like.

Divine insperation - The way

*Hides in shame*

I cant even think why i bought it, probably because it was cheap in HMV.

that song reminds of soooo many of those Buckfast-fuelled nights of mayhem.
i think the vocals for that song are outstanding, always wanted a Scott Brown take on it.

I used to like the way aswell loadsa quality nights in vicky's wen i still lived in glasgow.

Think my ones the worst so far and again i'm gonna use the excuse of only just havin decks plus i bought it on net with a sample that didnt let me hear the full shitness of the tune.

Pastis + Buenri "We're sailing"

Thes boys are such gd dj's and producers but this song is beyond bad think i jus bought it cos it had there name on it more than anything, and yes it is a shit makina remake of the rod stewart song, oh the shame .

On the sample i only heard the bit wi a lassie singin the chorus and it sounded fair bouncy if over cheesy, when i stick on my decks before the last breakdown a guy starts slow singin in the gayest makina-male vocal i've ever heard the whole "we are sailing" thing urgggghhhh still makes me feel sick thinkin bout it.

The gd thing to come out of this story is my mate monty, also a right makina head, loved and i mean loved the picture disk it came on wi a cartoon raver on front and bought it off me for double what i played jus to stick it on his wall so not a bad result after all.

Quality topic look forward to hearin more folks disasters.

Venga familia!!!
