sounds like a cool idea but i definately agree with ionosphere that some bits need changing. i'm listening to the track on senheisser hd-25's (basicly studio monitors but in the form of headphones).
i think what ionosphere said was a brilliant piece of advice! it's not for me to say but i feel it was rude of u to go back at him like that? he was trying to help! i think that taking the formula from one of your favourite tracks and developing it into your own is a quality way to get it to sound PRO!

Feedback from an amateur producer:
There are some parts that sound really professional (the drums are really well sequenced for the most part) but then other parts which sound like they're just General MIDI coming off a keyboard.
One particular thing about your music I've noticed is it is *very* original - people say notes are wrong etc but its just not what they're expecting eg its not common to have dissonant sounds randomly in a track. Its not to say its not wrong, but its not common and therefore its not predictable.
When making music you have to think about the audience. Most people producing hardcore are producing it with the dream of it being pressed to vinyl and played by a DJ. In a club. Infront of punters. See punters aren't as clever as us musicans and they like things to be structured and somewhat predictable, ie the drums don't just disappear in the middle of a build, it doesn't suddenly change key, etc. Otherwise they get all disorientated and such :)
So for the dancefloor you want a certain element of predictability. But there is also a fine balance to not make the song *too* predictable (Won't mention any names here...) As well as predictibilty in melody and structure, the sound should also be similar to other tracks of the same genre. Why? simply to make the DJ's job easier for mixing it in.
On the other hand, if you're producing hardcore for bedroom listening, then you're doing nothing wrong. Tracks such as yours often have more long term appeal.
One thing I have noticed with music but dance music in particular is the following: Tracks which grow on you instantly seem to have less long term appeal, and vice versa. I'm not sure why this is, but its something to think about.
Hope this is useful feedback :)

^^ well said eddie
I'm not sure I would find it easy to put your song on some decks and mix with em or find it easy to dance to but just for listening it isnt bad
A quick note however, people only get better through criticism, if you have a thin skin you might miss out on some good tips if you're trying to make producing more than just a hobby.
I guess it all depends on what you're aiming to do with your producing.

Like I said I didnt want to attack. I am glad I heard this advice. I am just so honest that I say what I thought back then
Okay, I give you a point, eddiewould. I think I am producing to much "complicated" stuff. When I hear music in the radio I always think "omg this is always the same BUT PEOPLE LISTEN TO IT AND LOVE IT" I can't understand em. I want music to confuse me with everything it has. I wan't to chose for myself, which melody I am listening to, I want fast changes. Thats why I listen to hhc and not hiphop.
You dont know what I mean? Just listen to track 13 on Happy2BHardcore 7 (BLAZE! - Till The Day) and in the middle of the track you know what I mean.
I agree with you that I think that if I ever want to play my music in front of ravers I have to make it ... ... "more boring" (I guess you know what I mean)
BTW I really like this discussion. Its really interesting.
Hope I didn't make u angry Iono
