With happy hardcore becoming more and more popular now, do you think we will see the return of the original happy hardcore groups like Nakatomi or Dune doing more hardcore again or even Charlie Lownoise and Theo?
Suppose Styles and Breeze are the HH producers are who are like that now. But it would be good to have more groups like that or have the above return back, doing their music I grew up with and still listen to.
Being from England and with the way happy hardcore is going here I wouldn't be surprised to see it on Top of the Pops sooner or later.

Why live in the past?
There's more than enough current and up & coming talent to keep things interesting.

Arguably one of the best

That's very true...There is a load of unbelievable talent about. Sadly, a lot of people aren't getting the attention and recognition they need!! There should be a CD full of new talent...give them a chance! The competition here proved how much talent there is on this site alone.
As for Dune stc. making a comeback...that would be great!!
Although there is a lot of new sounds in Hardcore at the min, imo, a lot of it is starting to sound similar. A touch of the old-style in some tunes, for me, would go down quite well.

it may be more popular than ever but it isn't really happy hardcore any more, it has progressed into something different than what it ued to be
wouldn't mind hearing nu-skool stuff with an old-skool vibe, would be a change from the norm, i'm all for it, variation is great
BOO!

Things have changed so much...
I'm tempted to go into the difference between 'then' and 'now' but i'll leave it for another time.
Just wonder what it's going to be like in another few years....Things may have gone fully 'comercial' by then?...

mmmm the oldskool returning?i dunno if id agree with tht.........they had there time and left when things got weak so it would really piss me off if they all started jumping on the bandwagon again..........theyd really have to proov themselves wrthy.
i was abit confused when seduction climbed bk on the train but he has done sum wkd tunes and is bringing bk sum of tht beutifull oldskool sound.
well done to him.
i hear slipmatt is doing a upfront mix on the new hecthech album.............well come to ur own conclusions on tht i know mine.
as said before its about the new talent and i dnt mean people whov got a few tunes out and want more publicity im meaning people like us on ere the idea sun1 brought up about a cd of new talent wellllllll i think tht would be a wicked idea.............it all jus depends weva anyone really givs a fuk about us to do anything about it......................i doubt it.
a big name goes a long long way.

I don't think old producers would need to prove anything if they were to come back into Hardcore. I, personally, would really appreciate it.
They've already given Hardcore some of the best years in it's existence...Once the scene died down a bit, sure they did 'leave'...but what were they to do for money?!
There are a lot of producers now who are 'starting out' and are producing top quality stuff. (mjdream and Chwhynny are two that spring to mind). But where's the rest?
I think too many companies are too afraid to venture outand bring on board all the new talent.
It's the same with DJ's too (IMO!). On every flyer....It's the same DJ's headlining each event. Sure, it's not as though they don't deserve to be there...But how about throwing an 'unheard-of' DJ into the scene?!?
When you think about it, It's a very hard thing to make a full decision on. Just mainly opinions as each side has a lot of advantages and disadvantages..
This post probably makes no sence at all, but hey, It's 5am and i'm just in from work.

The problem is trying to balance up and comers with establised dudes.
People know (in theory) the established people, they know how good they are and what to expect. People like to know what they are getting.
On the other had, you do have to make room for new talent, for the unexpected so the movement can grow.
Then, of course, there is the politics of the whole scene. Ugh.

yeah i agree mustapha.
and im gonna contradict myself and make myself look stupid but id love it if vibes came bk.............he was my hero
i dunno i think i said things wrong before about producers coming bk the main reason for me thinking tht is because it would more thn likely leave less of the limelight for us young bucks to try n shine in..............thts why it would get me a tad.theres so much fresh talent and not enuff talent spotters in my opinion.
god i can rant on abit lol
