Gabba is not happy hardcore. It's to hard to be happy! Will someone please explain the difference once and for all?

you get like this happy gabba stuff,i got some dutch one or sumin of baldo...it was so warm and fussy,only with mega distorted kick as per.
suppose it qualified as happy.

Happy gabba's quality but was all made years ago dont get any new stuff really, i mix it all the time jus like happy hardcore but more fast and bouncy with harder kickdrums. will get you a tape if you like it zippy bud.
Real gabba's nothin like happy hardcore though cos gabba's mostly made in holland and italy they're scenes totally different to over here and producers have went down a different path. Love the lot myself try to get my vinyl collection as varied as possible with different dance tunes all the hardcore plus trance, bouncy house and that. Cant really explain the difference between happy hardcore and gabba that well but it is a big difference. Think we need knightmare to sort this thread out.

technically happy hardcore doesn't exist anymore (isn't produced) but gabba is certainly not happy hardcore even if there is crossover genres, but hey it makes me happy when I listen to it you can often find me grinnin away in the corner of a gabber room.

Gabber is Hardcore, its just a sub genre of hardcore! Happy Hardcore isnt actually hardcore either its all just a name given to say freeform,old skool, nu style gabber and upfront uk hardcore...its all just known as hardcore even tho alot of it is very different.
kinda like Trance...then you can have..tech-trance, euphoric trance, electro etc...

Hey! bulby! I do hope happy hardcore does exist cos that is the sort of music i like to listen to! I can't stand gabba it's to hard,headbangin. So that is all i have to say! That's my opinion although i know some of you fellow ravers will disagree! Enuff said!

In general though it's not being made anymore even if there is the odd exception, the point I was tryin to put accross is that new hardcore (in general) is not happy hardcore.
