Considering that more and more labels/collectives starts to release bunch of their backcatalogue on digital downloads or CDs, but what about the others?

Well what I've heard Hixxy and Brisk doesn't really like mp3's because of the ripping-scene, so It's likely we'll never see Nextgen/Blatant and Raverbaby's on something playable format for all in the near future.

But what about Silver's labels?
Well before I joined the forums I always considered this place and USH being the most anti-mp3 places I could think of. But silver seems tolerant to downloadable mixes (except if they came from di.fm) but still.

Doesn't anyone want to see old Masterwax releases again, on CD or digital files? I would cause MWX is about the largest collection of quality cheese you can get and listen to, and still wont wear you down in ages
I'm sure this topic been discussed before (properly before I joined), but still time changes and you cant really say that mp3's dont help you get a buck easy. I'm pretty sure alot of people here would buy them considering most on here like the place

So what's going to happen?

Edit #1:_ if you wonder why Im asking, it's cause I want to get the LIA and dj fade release :P

I think that MWX002 cant be released on CD. But anyway id buy the back cat as a CD album, eventhough i have them on vinyl. Also i buy almoust all CD singles i can find. Vinyl just isnt versatile enough for me.

Well, as long as most of the tracks can be released, I dont really bother.

Actually already own MWX002, but i dont think it actually says something about "used under license of" another label

If i remember right, Misono became a pretty popular JPop artist under a diffrent name. Cause of that Avex Trax but pressure over silver to not release MWX002 at all, so he had to compromise ..or something like that. At least silver has said that it will never be on any CD.

I think silver has stated his views on vinyl and cd's enought for u to relize his response

I noticed a while back that someone played "work it" in a mix, so there must be masterwax cd promo's out there somewere

well like people say, opinions and money never go side by side.

i just thought that it would be a quick way to earn a buck for the site and label, considering silver always says he never have money (atleast what he said on the irc-channel)
