Seeing as my last track was quite succesful, it fluffed up my ego a bit and i've been hard at work making a new song :)
Would appreciate some reviews, and maybe someone could tell me if its worthy enough to send to a record label, as it will be my first demo. **excitement**:D
If so, what would be the best label to send it to?
Cheers my cherubs, look forward to hearing from you.

You missed out the 'd' in your link. This'll do the trick if you click it -
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/slikstylezmusic.htm Yeh, nice ideas but, imo, the Kick is 'swamping' everything so it's very hard to hear what's going on. A bit of re-engineering is needed, levels etc, unless that's how you want it. Between the Earth and the Stars. Website - http://www.ionosphere.co.uk

Cheers for fixing the link mate, didn't realise that.
Yeah I agree with the Kick, couldn't find any way of fixing it. Compressing it makes it seem too far away, and bringing the distortion down on it made it sound really flat.
I'll see what else I can do...
Cheers anyway

Yeah soundin good mate! :) you should mabe try choppin up the main rift a bit so the notes are shorter and maybe reapeat themselves or summin as it sounds like its runnin at a different pace to the kick but thats just what i'd do good work mate

Track sounds cool. Kick needs alot of work, as well as everything just seems like its mashing. Keep it up.

i like the start "the main part" it was really cool( the first 30 sec) thats the only thing i really liked. basically what u can do is eq the bass out of everything except the kick and bass and that will fix most of your problems.
as for labels dont rush to send stuff out u need to get better at producing. also the intro is way to long and there isnt much of anything else going on. but i do thing the idea is there u just need to sit and think and work on the song.

I can not agree with you more. You dont want people releasing your stuff until you think that it will make a big impact when released. Make sure your 100% happy with your production quality before labels start to hear your stuff because labels might not listen to your stuff again if you dont give them awesome material at first.

its a good track.....but i think maybe you use to much reverb on the sounds, it make it sound fake

Here's the final version of the track.
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/slikstylezmusic.htm **correct link** :P I've taken all peoples reviews into consideration - Removed all low frequencies apart from the kick and bass, Removed a fair bit of reverb, The main melody - I could understand what you were saying, and I realised that was becase of the dodgey kickdrum, now that that's fixed, the melody sounds much better. Hope you enjoy :) Slik

I'd go the other way, and be taking out synths to make room for the kick.

well done bruv, i really like the vibe of ur sound.. i definitely agree with the above comments.. u should not send ur tracks off 2 labels until u know its gonna blow them away.. im in the same position, ive sent my tracks 2 pablo (pain on creation) from finland and he is giving me pointers as 2 how 2 make my tracks better.. i plan 2 have a 5 track demo ready by the beginning of next year, only then will i send it away 2 labels.. & if it takes longer, so be it!! theres no rush!! u know.. but all of that aside, i reckon judging by that tune u definitely got it inya bro.. keep on pushing ur sound.. i look 4ward to hearing more from u!! PS what software/kit r u using?? im using reason 2.5 for freeform tracks, fruityloops for my hardstyle/techno (the fx really make a sick soundin kick drum) and have recently ventured in2 the world of cubase!!! MISSION!!! haha Respect!!!! Bayley
