Woodland raves....ravers will not stop planning them, and the authorities moan about habitat destruction.... yet they REFUSE to inform 'us' of more suitable/less fragile areas in which the events could be staged...

There was an article... "thousands cause rave woods damage", Denge Wood, Canterbury, where ~2000 ravers disturbed birds, provoking woodpeckers to abandon their eggs.
In future hopefully rave sites will be selected better, but the police took photos before the brunt of the ravers' clean up operation in the morning...thus 'demonising' our activities to the public. With press like this the rave-scene will receive even more hostile attitudes by the public-
TRUE raving is not a yob-culture .... but alleged left 'methadone bottle and needles' is sloppy- & shows a more menacing substance use/(abuse!) not incorperated into or welcomed by the rave-world.
It takes bad publicity like this or elsewhere, a 5 idiots in 1000 disrespecting their drugs (& getting hospitalised) at events that turns the vibrant-harmonious-lovey-energetic vibe sour for everyone.
(I say the police should focus on removing dangerous drunkard yobs and violent youths off the streets first..... how many ecstacy-fuelled street-fights do u here about?)
AND the ANSWER to all global CONFLICTS?...give the god-damn lunatic world-leaders some: 3-4 dimethyldioxymethamphetamine!
If media images of corpses, starvation and child-soldiers doesn't appeal to their humanity...lets pray the E will!!!

maybe but what you lacked in popular common sense you made up for in humor. you have some good points.
for instance i like what you said about drinkers in bar especially.
while i was in england last summer (where epiphan-e resides) i saw some rowdy "soccar hooligan" fights and 1 death (no negative opinion on england though i love the place)
but the bar attendees get shit from the cops too and would deffinately say the exact same about us ravers
thedy say something like "i was just havin a drink with my buddies, which is legal unlike those pill popping crack smoking swindlers dancing in the woods"
