I properly love the old scottish stuff...
Always kinda prefered it to the Bonkers stuff...

If you want to check out flyers from the 'EarthQuaker' gigs (Ayrshire), you'll find that DJ EE played Hardcore there.
DJ EE (aka DJ Ian Rushmore) is one of the Ionosphere crew.
Nothing wrong with Scottish Hardcore, past or present, or Scottish gigs.
.....maybe they're just a bit too far to travel for most Sassenachs.....
If you like HARD Hard House you can catch Ee here every Saturday from 6-8pm -

Its quality, i prefer it to the new sounds to be honest. I'm from the NE so i was brought up on the Scottish / NE sound with Bass Generator and stuff.... apparently Judgement Day is back up & running in Newcastle

Gotta love the old bouncy style i still collect loadsa old scottish/dutch stuff that i was brought up with but sadly was a bit young to really experience the rez etc.
Think the main difference between scotland to england at that time was england was more for the happy and breaks whereas we were into bouncy techno and gabba. Even the cheesy stuff that used to get played always was a lot tougher than force and styles etc i remember this one gettin played a lot round my way when i was younger http://www.factoriasonora.co.uk/shop/audio/idt2.rm?osCsid=d6f504a8cb57762e6286969ccadb732c Had many crackin nights out at scotstoun for twisted plus a few events at barras and is a crackin underground scene but havent been since it moved to archaos. I'm away to zante for this but a crackin glasgow event comin up is this Do-Nation, 30th July '05, Bettys,(next to blacks pub) Queen Street, Glasgow 9pm till 3am, Donation On The Door DJ's: The Doctor Haston b2b Colin H JFX Veggie Marc Loage Stu I b2b Jay Taylor MC's Poetic Korrupt Super X(TBC) Echo Chrisy G Veggie Is absolutely free to get in all donations go to charity plus absolutely wkd lineup. Got all your new hardcore plus haston and bounceman showin you how makina should be done and believe me these boys arent to be missed. To top it all off my good mate chrisy g's been booked on the mic again so well in to him, am in zante that week but defo gonna get myself up to one of these soon as i can. Venga familia!!!
