it didnt rain whilst i was in london, in fact, i had to actually spend lots of time in a pub..because it was so hot outside

Oi there, I was wondering if there is something/anything that is quite known for UK.. some object or something, that you can buy in souvenier shop, so mates and girl at home would go like "awww how nice, thats.... thank you;*", get a drift?
It would seem strange to come home empty handed, except hardcore cd's for myself.
My mom brought me a t-shirt that has infront "some idiot went to london and all i get is a lousy shirt" lol.

oooooooh matey matey matey. In London, (without fail leicester square, piccidilly circus and covent garden) there are absolutely shed loads of souvenir shops with everything from old skool bobby hats, and tshirts with the union jack on the front with sayings such as:
My boyfriend went to London and all i got was this lousy t shirt.
and other crap like that.
you can get mugs with the royal family members faces on. there are even london underground boxr shorts! a favourite with the ladies i might add ;)
just for the record, no not really. do not buy a pair of those if you value your testicles. you will be shot.
but on a serious note though. the safest thing you can do as a tourist in london is carry as little baggage as you can.
if you wear shorts tshirt a fat rucksack and a camera with a 20ft lens round your neck, prepare to be mugged.
if you wear just a normal pair of jeans a t shirt and just mellow clothing like that and can manage to carry all your stuff around in just your pockets (this is especially true at night time) you´ll be fine because even though you may sound and look like a tourist a bit still, at least you look a bit like you know whats going on so you look less like a target.
thats the key to being safe.
other than that, kick`em in the nuts and run like hell.

I've had the pleasure of livin half an hours train away from london for the last year and a half and i absolutely love it, would even go as far to say it's like home to me now or adopted home anyway. A quote i saw on the tubes before pretty much sums it up for me "if your tired of london your tired of life".
I've not been robbed since i moved here neithers my bro and he lives in wembley where your a real minority being white, as long as your careful it really aint that bad at all.
Plenty of sites to see in london for general tourist stuff but definitely go down to camden for the markets either saturday or sunday the place is always buzzin. Theres plenty cool bars around the lock where you can meet interestin people from all over the world.
Shame you didnt come last week wouldve got you to raindance which is my favourite rave anywhere an absolute carnival of old school, hardcore, breakbeats, jungle etc with the best crowd of any event and not fulla kids.
If you enjoy your stay i recommend you try come back sometime for the notting hill carnival at end of august, i went last year and was absolutely amazed with it. Is europes biggest street party and i cant say i've ever experienced anythin like it plus this year raindance have got a room somewhere for after it.
Hope you have a good time whatever you do mate.

Anyhoo I dunno where to start, might aswell at music. I bought 3 cd/vinyls (whats the difference in a CD and a Vinyl?), THESE:
Bangin! They costed me 50pounds, but what the heck, worth every peny.
Hmn, oh yea, girls arent as hawt as our tho, as I saw it.
I saw many good sights, bigban, that wheel, parlament, that backinham's palace (spelling lol?), then guard change, some "time museum" which takes you through out the history of england and there are aswell some celebrity dolls and such, etc etc etc. It was gud, my feet hurt tho.
Muffins are excellent! :D
Em oh yea, I am totally surprised it didn't rain not even once! As for the thiefs, I didn't give a less shit if they would steal some stuff from my backpack, I had money under my t-shirt in some small bag blah blah (like you give a shit:)), tho I noticed a couple of times my backpack was opened a couple of times o0.
I see that prices are a bit of same as here, maybe even a tad higher. Only thing that is cheaper are dvd's. I bought one for 8pounds, I would give for the same dvd around 15pounds here in my country.
As for the souvenirs, I bought some stuff, tho hmn, I hope they'll like it. Well I bought a waterbooby for my friend, I know he's going to be happy, I hope others will be aswell.

This is quite funny, once I arrived home I went to bed infront of tv, then checked the DiscoveryChannel and they were showing London -> Oxford street, how full of crimes and stealing it is, haha. I laughed like a tard.
