why is that its very rare that you find djs of hardcore doing artist albums and not to much publicity of them and making themselves known as far as with websites and albums? like i don't get it. You people don't find that weird? i know it cost money but i mean brisk or ham or dougal and gammer make enough tracks to make albums. it gets them respect and credibility as well.. i dunno what your thoughts on it?

Makes it easy for bootleggers, I doubt alot of artists want 12tracks of there in a zip file, easly found thu google.
when they could sell those 12tracks on a site like IMO, and make a quick buck without going thu all the hassles of releasing cd's and trying to get them all sold

well i mean all the record labels are in my eyes indie! so there wouldn't be so much pressure if they were under a major label. Well as far as bootlegger well i mean thats with ANY genre of music no matter if it was Brytney spears or Breeze and Styles. It will definately increase their credibilty as an artist and in a genre that doesn't get to much respect

I don't think Silver has produced enough tracks to fill a full album.

But a MasterWax album would be pretty cool

I want to do an album.

Just a few more months and I'll have all the material

I'm wondering if its worth it. Would you peeps buy it?

another point that i wanted to make was, alot of artists use different monikers, and if they were to put an album together including all of those stage names that they have, it may be confusing to newcomers in the scene that may not know that all those names are of the same person. All though it seems to work for Luna-C and Scott Brown though, but they both have pretty distinct styles.

i think there's a difference between a album and a compilation, albums usually contain fullversion of tracks (or atleast not mixed tracks).

only Artists I know that's done an album with singles are Sharkey and Scott Brown, but yea, a album from NextGen/BlatBeats (either old, new or a mixture of both) would kick ass

About the bootleging, most tracks aren't even whole when they bootleg em anyways

@ ryg0r: I'll certainly take a copy off you!

BTW: Sharkey's Hardlife and the two CLSM albums are absolutely stunning - check them out!
