I apologise if this is in the wrong forum, but I can't ask in the hhc radio forum as only admins can... so if it's wrong, please move it :)

Anyway, did anyone hear that really twisted tune earlier: "Hocus Pocus - Here's Johnny" - it's new to me, so don't laugh if it's ancient or well known! Anyway, it had some proper freaky screams in it, and while some of the samples in it were rather questionable (the system of a down - could have been well used, but wasn't, in my opinion). Anyway yeah, it's a really dirty tune, Gabber style, and I was wondering if it's going to be released or if there's a legal way of gaining a copy of it? I'd love to work that into a mix!

regards,
Joonyer

Much appreciated mate, thanks - I duno why I've never heard of it, but I guess it's because there's so many awesome tunes out there! I've only been mixing for about 3 months but if I can get it on vinyl I will! I'd love to see my mates' faces when I drop that into Boomstick or somethin :D

Again, thanks very much :)

ebay is best bet
There is also a scott brown remake which was released in 2001 (scott brown - johnny), but it contains a really bad upfront trancey part to it that really doesnt fit...remixes by demand are ace thu

I'm little confused, it was tagged as Hocus Pocus in winamp (streaming) so I'm not sure which it was, but it was pretty twisted... I'm surprised I've never heard of it if it's been around since 93!

Anyway, thanks again, I'll look into it and see if I can get hold of a copy.

Cheers,
Joonyer

Yeah, one of the first hardcore tunes I heard in school, those kicks & the mad sounds just blew me away.

Hocus Focus came out in 93 or something, it charted for 6 weeks at the number 1 position in the Australian national charts no crap... I have the vinyl, it was one of the first I ever bought and would be extreamly hard to find now I would think.

it's all hardcore.
