I'm just listening to Sunrize - Don't Even Try It, on hhc.com radio, and it's got one of those awesome bouncing fast beats that I seem to be falling for lately - I'm not talking oldskool bouncy, and I'm not talking hard gabber style bouncing, but another good example is Stormtrooper - Addictz (Can be found as track 7, Sharkey set, Bonkers 14, for those who don't know it.) Anyway, I'm really getting into these fast soft bouncy basslines lately, and they're great fun to mix. I just find myself sitting there motioning to every beat with an outstretched finger (by this I mean the sort of action you do when you're listening to a tune, and you imagine the drop in your head and flick it away, unless that's just me :D)
Anyway, can anyone recommend any tunes of this nature that they really like? The vocals and melodies don't have to be anything special really, I just need some more beats to work with. Preferably stuff available on vinyl, as I don't have or like CD decks :p I know it's a bit of a vague question, but it can't hurt asking.
cheers,
Joonyer.

Hardcore Overdose :D My second favourite vinyl - I'll start giving them a listen on imo. A few of my friends said they'll lend me some too, which is cool. I'm a little short on cash at the moment so I can't buy any records for a while!
Thanks for the advice though, I'd love to have a huge section in the middle of a set just keeping it bouncing solidly.
Much appreciated,
Joonyer

Hmmm...you might try Enraptured Soulz by Invader. That song Rock n' Roll by Double Decka might fit...I will give you more if I can think of anything else.
EDIT: Wow, I can't believe that I forgot Future Dimension by Robbie Long and Stormtrooper. I am not sure if that is on vinyl or not though...

Thanks lads, much obliged - as for "fat bass", I appreciate that too - like I say I've not been mixing long so I'm still learning my terms; I usually just try to decribe it :)
Thanks again,
Joonz
