You know the live hardcore shows on the radio?
The uk times are quite pants, always in the middle of the day when we all at work, if u did a eveniing show, the listeners would rock sky high, just a suggestion.....

But on the other hand, Silver organises the radio times and at the moment he's living in Japan
So i think he will organise the times to best suit the foreign audiences to the UK

The reason why The UK Hardcore Show, that is LIVE on HappyHardcore.com on a Tuesday, is not on at a later time than it is currently, is because Silver controls the stream from his whereabouts in the world. Now, Silver does indeed live in Japan and that is about 8hrs ahead of the UK.
If Silver was able to sort things out so that our show could start at say, 5 or 6pm that would be excellent. Infact, itd be almost perfect for the UK! But to do this he would need to let me control the stream to start and stop things from my end, which will not happen. Mainly, coz I dont know how to do that!
Basically, Silver would be in bed at 5pm UK Time and he wouldnt be around to get us on Live at that time, so it is very unlikely that the show will be broadcast any later in the day that it is now and I wont be asking Silver if we can make it start later any time soon. It'd be extremely unfair to do so! It would only happen, as I say, if I was in control of the server, or sum1 else who could control the server at 5pm UKT was around to assist! This I think is highly doubtful!
So in the meantime, if you want live UK hardcore, tune into the UK Hardcore Show @ 12noon GMT every Tuesday with me, DJ Myers, and Scott Devotion here on the 1 HappyHardcore.com! It is the largest UK Based Internet Hardcore show in the world, afterall!!

heh works for me dont change the time silver its good!!!!!!, its a world wide thing so you need to realise that its going to reach people at different times, understand that it would be annoying though.

yah, unfortunately silver and i are the only ones who can run the server, and with the time differences and scheduals, evening time in the UK is really difficult to hit. however maybe some 1-offs are in order?

could you not do the stream as per usual (live) and have it recorded, then replay it for the uk at time where it will get more listeners?

wouldn't that defeat the purpose of doing a live show? it's more of an issue of just being physically available to run things, however with some proper planning we can throw a few one-off shows during peak-time. thanks for the input, deffinately something to look forward to now ;)

We are running custom software on the radio servers and multiple streams over multiple bitrates so it is not easy for the DJ to just flick a switch so there has to be a person there to control everything...
Evening time in the UK is like my 5am... I just could not do those types of times... hopefully in the future we will get more mods moving up the ranks to become a radio operator but at the moment we have NO UK moderators so I can't give you a time.

well ppl who are able to listen at midday get to listen to the live show, and people who are stuck at work get a chance to listen to it again when they get home

Not sure what it requres from the mod to do that, but i would at least have time to do it from 4-6pm onwards. Assuming we wouldnt have a huge project going on at work (witch happens very rearly). But then again, i'm not sure i would trust myself being a radio operator, Oh and i cant really speak english, only write

It's just aint that easy, you need a server person to watch over everything, we aint number 1 for no reason.... We don't have a radio server person at the moment that can do a UK time... as radio server admin is a very high position in mod ranks we need more UK peeps to train and start... there is a future in HappyHardcore.com :)
