I take back wot i said about Hixxy and hope fellow ravers will forgive me for slatin his choice of tunes as i was blastin his mix he did on Bonkers 14 and all the tracks were good apart from the 2 usual that i skipped tracks 8 and 10 i think u lot know which ones i mean? The tracks at the end of the cd were really good. So next door i wont be so quick to judge unless i give his mix a chance to sink in

So true! B&S are back on top form, and their remixes were so much better than any Hixxy remix done on there!

i used 2 think that hixxy was all about all skool, i didnt think he was as good as other dj's when it came 2 hardcore. but hixxy's cd on bonkers 14 changed all that cuz it ****in amazing.

Yep i also agree that hixxy is loosing his touch, His sets on Hardcore Til i die Vol. 2 and Bonkers 5 i think were bloody awesome but Bonkers 13 & 14 i didnt really like :D maybe he is just in a down of production, As DJs we all expeirence this so i will give him some more time to come good.

Theres nothing wrong with hixxy's 14 mix other than it is a bit too happy for my liking, but the 14 sharkey mix did it for me, i now have a love for AMS.
But overall hixxy is as good as he ever was! Just a cheesy choice of tunes...

I can't believe any1 would want to slate Hixxy the guy is a legend, to be honest it was his mixes that got me and a lot of the younger people i know into hardcore, the Bonkers series has done its self proud and stood the test of time, and he's been there from the start.
Not just that but his commitement to the hardcore scene is almost second to none, on friday he headlined a local under 18s rave in my area n thanks to his hard work and others almost 500 under 18s turned out and showed a demonstration of the furture of hardcore, not to mention the wicked set he played that had evry1 goin mental, how can a man with such commitement to hardcore be said to be loosing his touch.

Hixxy was responsible for getting me into hardcore when i tuned into a rave radio station one night that was live at Utopia here in australia. In no way by posting this topic am i slating him, im jus saying is this what is happening? everyones opinions have helped me to get a better understanding of what might be going on because this aint what hixxy usual duz, usually he always makes new & better tunes that are outstanding and that u kno u will still rave to years from now.
Everyone knows hixxy is a legend among the giants of hardcore such as Scott Brown, Breeze & Styles, Brisk etc etc.. but i just want him to blow us away with sum new and different tunes.

Fair Point. but like people say its probably just a transition period. and like with anything you can't be on top all the time. Form is temporary class is permanent maybe that could some it up?
