the evolution records artwork is quality - SB's Hardwired is ace.
The Prodigy rule in terms of artwork - Jilted Generation is kool as f***.
I like the cartoony kack with Bonkers, its all part of the gimick - its a whole lot better than a half-naked orgazmic woman - AATW style.
FU** AATW for contributing to bringing the scene to the chavs!

i like the gasmask pic for masters of hardcore that looks sik, but i also like the bonkers covers because of its legacy. It started off with the cartoony type themes and im sure it will end that way to (if it ever does). I think hardcore should stay marketed the way it is now coz its covers and so on set it apart from other types of dance music n its more of a suprise if u grab sumthin like bonkers n expect it to not b dat good coz of d cartoony cover, but then u put it on n it blows u away. A more mature pic like the gasmask i can already tell what im in for by looking at that, personally it wud appeal to me but it wouldnt at the same time (if that makes any sense) lol..
Hardcore is da sound that's why we're underground

Need I say any more? I've never bought an album whilst gritting my teeth and trying my hardest not to blush.

^^^^ jeeeeeesus, Yep hardcore artwork definately needs a dramatic maturity check! I probly wouldnt own a gabba cd, but some of that artwork is awesome.

... But it's not "Happy" hardcore any more is it? the "happy" part has been dropped. Hardcore is now a more 'serious' form of music. As Dougal put it, hardcore is no longer the whipping boy of clubland.
Like I said yonks ago, I'm happy to design an album cover and I'll do it for free!

I'm not too fussed tbh as long as it's not quite as bad as that ultimate happy hardcore album! its not the fact its cartoon style it's the fact that it looks like a doodle someone did on there school excercise book in detention. I buy my cd's/records for the music and dont much care whats on the cover.

I agree with you, I buy the album for the content not the cover but the UHHC cover was the new benchmark in cheeseyness and it nearly stopped me buying it!
Good job I did buy it because I thought it was a blinding album.
