I'm not going to get into the whole issue of Flip & Phil & the commercial rip offs (Apparently Luna-C's 6 Days is next & he can't stop it due to the ownership of the sample.)
The 6 days remix has all ready been done, its out on AATW
It is a bit hypocritical that people who have always griefed hardcore now suddenly want to be associated with it but if it means i get to hear more hardcore more often then i'll be happy

I can relate abit to the issue, since hardcore gets bigger, you dont need to have the same effort making a tune, so most tracks will be repetative since they use the same formulas, or themes.
Call me narrowviewed if you want, but I dont care actually, since the only way I can personally support the scene is to import vinyls and buy tracks from the web, and I pay for the stuff I like, even if it's from nukleuz or not, Tho I do do understand that wankers who wanna leech Hardcore will come. So far only the tracks I didn't really like was pressed at 165 (ie Injected with a Semen track.....), but the ones i really wanted are 175. So fair enough for me

I have seen it to it looks really ace
But i actually bought an album called frantic euphoria last year and it's one of the shittest things i have ever heard. DO NOT TOUCH EUPHORIA!
The other thing that annoys me is that Bonkers seriously needs to change there advertisments
Think of Hardcore Nation for example, really ace advert it had for it, and what happened, it sold a shed load
ALL the Bonkers adverts that have come out have been too fast, and the cartoons ruin it by makin' it look stupid on the advert
It would look so much better if it had shots of hardcore ravers in clubs
I remember someone sat next to me a few week ago and the Bonkers advert came on. he said: 'what the **** was that?'

Yes.
Why?
You might not have noticed but even though things are currently quite healthy, we're not exactly buried under a deluge of Hardcore tunes being released are we?
I see it as a way of getting tunes released, and i buy every record i like whatever the label. In fact, if a tune i wanted by an artist i like was being released on 'We're only in it for the money and don't really like hardcore' records i'd still buy it!
I'll be sure to have a word with Lee UHF at Total Bedlam tonight and tell him not to bother releasing 'Hardcore machine' because some of you don't agree with Nukleuz releasing hardcore.
Get a life!

It matters because if every label was just in it for the highs then the scene would be ****ed.
I never mentioned any specific lables but imo it does matter over all. If there where three labels going to release a tune and one of them labels where money grabbing ****s then anyone would avoid that label so yes it does matter in general. I answered a general question with a general answer.

But there are more than enough labels & artists who are in it for more than just money and these are the ones who will keep the scene alive. If others come and go, so what? - The next Nukleuz release won't stop me buying the next Bedlam or Lucky breaks or Addictive vinyl etc release.
The genuine hardcore lovers will still be around when (notice i said when) the scene disappears up it's own arse again - and we'll just pick up the pieces and carry on as before.
The keyword here is QUALITY - without good tracks, the scene is heading for a fall that no amount of being snobbish about labels will prevent.

Yes i understand that, but its only settling for second best if hardcore was huge lables that where money grabbing ****s would be told to **** off.
Use them and say no more if you get my meaning.

I see your point mate (oo-er) but for as much as we might wish it was different, the larger labels are more geared toward business than supporting genres with tiny sales.
If the sales of hardcore drop off, i wouldn't be surprised if the big labels stopped supporting the scene - why sell something that loses you money?
That's why it doesn't bother me because i know that there are many labels out there run by people who want more than just sales - and these are the people who will get my long-term support.
