When I set my profile to my time according to GMT (which is GMT -8 hours for me) the times shown on the message board are 10 hours behind. I have to set it to +2 Bucharest time to get it to show the right times for California.

The server is located in America but the forums are set on GMT.... I'll check it out.

This problem has never been fixed. Sometimes the times will even change around on their own. Now I have to set it to GMT +1 to get it right (I'm still GMT -8 though) but I think that's because of stupid daylight savings time. I don't know whether it's just my account that's messed up because no one else has mentioned it and I've accessed the site from many different places but I just think it's an odd problem.. whatever
