Yeah dumb question however this reminds me of a time where I was given a turtle as a pet (Did'nt ask for one), I pretended as if I were overjoyed with happiness. As soon as the person left my house, My mom and I agreeed to throw it out... and so we did. Thinking about it, I get a realy good laugh and now Im wondering what DOES a turtle sound like?
I know, its heartless... but damn funny. lol.

A turtle sort of makes a speauky quack noise as i remember there was an advert cant remember what for on british tv with two turtles humping i think it was a kit kat advert or something and thats the noise they were making.

small turtles communicate by moving their heads. larger sea turtles can communicate through squaking noises.
in small turtles, audible hisses are very short duration- a few seconds would be a long hiss. many hisses are just a noise caused by the sudden withdrawl of the head, compressing the lungs.
