Well, with a quick calculation, i post about 4,1 posts per day. Witch makes 748,25 posts every 6 months, witch is about 50% more then the 500 posts in 6 months that Hardcore4eva was talking about. Yet i dont remember posting "lol's" into topics at all. Now that i think about it, most of the (active) advanced members havent spammed at all. My point is, your generalizing way too much, or do you think that we should only post when absolutely necessery, to keep our post count as small as possible? People seem to forget that this is a forum, the whole point is to discuss things. Theres not many members ive seen that post only to boost their post count, or the "lol" posts. Not saying there arent any, but that they are a small minority.

i wake, i open my active topics, i shift-click all the ones im interested in, usually about 10 out of 30, i then usually end up post in about 5 of them, and thats me done for the day usually, so when you see 5 replys from me, you know ive just woken up :P

whispering joined a year before me, and i have about half as many posts as him, so i guess im not doing too bad. i joined when i finally got an internet connection back, i would use my original account from 2002, but during the time i didnt have an internet connection i forgot my password lol

Aah, so the reason for me IS no life ;) See i do the same thing, first get a cup of coffee though, but after this site i go read the other 3 forums i read. Then i go for a cig, get another cup of coffee, put some music on if its not too early anymore and check the active topics again, just a quick check. Then i quickly go through another 2-3 forums that i follow. Then go do some other stuff. Like yesterday after the forum things, added records to the DB for an hour or so, updated Casshern's profile in DVD Profiler and updated my online collection. After that watched about 3 episodes of Blue Gender and drink some beer while i watch it. Check forums, email (my package from amazon.com has been sent, YAY). Start thinking maby i should clean the apartment, cant be arsed, go watch 17 episodes of Blue Gender drink beer while i watch it, and after that to sleep... for me, perfect Saturday :p Today, probably the same, though gonna leave the beer out, been drinking WAY too much beer for the past... 4 months or so :p Probabaly gonna watch Casshern again today and i should install some program and try to figure out how to record my vinyls to my PC :) After reading this, I guess i'm not very social person.

I've got the same kind of routine....wake up, go to the kitchen and get a cup of tea and sit at the computer and drink my tea and have a cigarette while I do my whole internet thing - emails, ebay and hhc.com. I only reply to one or two a day though, as a lot of the time my contribution would be pretty useless.

what you use the site for is going to affect how much you post, i bet some members just use the site for the news, events or radio and never post.
