I think I'll be the only old idiot still raving (or at least trying to) when at age 80 or somethin'! Then our decendants will think: "wow how'd they get into that sort of music?". I dunno, but there will always be a piece of hardcore in my heart.
Life is too short... lets go Hardcore!

The way i look at it...
If my dad can listen to Queen,Rollin Stones, and the Beatles today and love the shit out of them still... Theres no reason i cant still hear Scott and Brisk when im old n gray.
perhaps some who think they might not listen to hardcore when their old are thinking this hardcore stage in their life is a "phase"
This music will always sound good to me. Even if it turns into shit later at least ill have what im enjoying now.

Was going to say that :) My dad doesnt listen hes old records that often, but when he does, i can still see the exitement in hes eyes, and he always play them much louder then i would listen music. So yea, id assume i will still enjoy the tracks, but after listening them for probably 1000's of times, i'm not going to play them as often anymore of course. This is the reason why i havent sold any of my records. But i am slowly started to think maby i should sell the really crap ones that werent that good in the first place :p

I will always enjoy well engineered music
I don't know about the rest of you but when I listen to music I try to visualize the notes, some of the prettiest, most well engineered pieces of music are hardcore tracks
so. yes I will still be listening to at least some hardcore when I'm old and dead. along with classical and some various metal groups
I probably wouldnt be raving to it though, I would just enjoy the song while relaxing or something
