Ok, DJ's i know u all use the SONY MDR-V700's cause there best, and i got a pari about a year ago, and has been the best, and now for no reason, the balance of sound has cahnged from 50/50 to i think about 40/50 ne one elese had the same thing and what can i do?
Please help its very annoying
oh and jsut a digram
The one without the wire attached to the bottom is louder then the other

i monitor only using one cup at a time anyway, so the balance doesn't really matter. If you're using them for listening to music for the sake of listening to it, they were the wrong choice because they were made for dj'ing and producing. So the balance may have been off the entire time as you use one ear more than the other. Thats my opinion on it, but mine are the same way, about 40/50 and I've had two pairs of them, and the other ones were the same.

yeah I only use the left earphone as well. anyway it shouldn't be too much of a problem. if it's only been a year check the warranty and see if sony could maybe do something
I personally don't like 700s, they're too big for my ears and just wind up falling off =P

sometimes i use only my headphones, but i don't mind sound loss, often times you can hear better out of one ear than the other, it may not even be your headphones that are the problem, you may be interested in getting your hearing checked. No sense being a deaf dj.
