I've been thinking about whether to buy a 3rd deck for my room. The problem is i would need a new mixer as well 'cos mine is only 2 channel 
But from what i've heard of BCN it would probably be worth it.
Does any1 on here have 3 decks?
And also how does the crossfader work on a 3 channel mixer? Or is it just the upfaders that get used? *confused*

Alrite mate i'm thinkin the same thing cos defo the most excitin way to mix, would be hard as f**k though.
Cant really help you as yet cos never had a shot on 3 decks best person to ask would be haston so either ask on sbthq.net or the sonora forums.

My mate had three decks set up round his house was allot of fun new things to try etc it was a bit hectic but im sure you'd get used to that with practice.
We were using the upfaders to mix but his crossfader doesnt work though so we couldnt have used it anyway.

Yeahh!!! 3 deck mixin, its skill. Ive just had to do 1 for college. with mine tho, one of the dexx was a CDJay(wot a purchase!!!  ) and i too just used the up faders, but with 3 chnnel mixers u get fader assign buttons/switches and u just assign the faders to what eva side of the cross fader u wnt!!! Its brill. sorry ifr thats aloud of rubbish, il go back to brewing my own beer now! 
If you look closely, im not that difficult to see!!

most 3 or more deck configurations on 1 mixer you'll have to switch the input button/switch to tell the crossfader which input to be on that output.
you can leave one chanel open all of the time no matter where the crossfader is at.
it's a little confusing at first, especially mixing while you're inebriated =P
you could always just buy a slim mixer and have two mixers with 3 tables.

I always ask Haston about tunes on his website, never thought to ask him how it all works lol, i'll ask him later.
About these assign buttons.... could you assign 2 channels to 1 side of the crossfader? (So when the x-fader is all the way on the right, channel 1 & 2 are both playing out, and channel 3 would be waiting on the left side to be scratched) Thats the only way i could think that you could scratch over a mix. (????)

I don't think you can actually assign two to one chanel, but you could keep one chanel permanently open and then have the cross fader on one side and scratch with the other.
it's much easier to demonstrate things like this than to try and explain them through words =P
what mixer were you looking at anyway? might help with the explaining =P

All the best dave mate is quality pitchin up hardstyle with bouncy hardcore do it a lot myself. One day gonna defo get the 3rd deck get real mixes goin.
