Yes all you would need to do is what i did, When they join the server they auto dowload the .pls file and with it a temp player less then 500k so they Download less then 1mb and the download is very fast so it wont matter to them.
and pings will only be affected 2 to 3 bits (tops because it takes littles to stream)
It's Hardcore or BUST!

Or you could just open hhc.com radio before you play? Works for me and doesn't lag anything.

What?
He's essentially saying that at the point where video games will use hardcore as their soundtracks (in america), it will just become exploited and corrupt. I agree but it seems like a lot of people don't. So I'll stay out of it.

there's already been hardcore in video games. if people like oakensuck and digweed can be in games like wipeout and fifa, I could easily see styles or breeze having a track in a video game...dna was doing video game music for awhile.
and there is a way to play music through your headset on xbox...some guy was running around kickin' arse and hammer's 'u can't touch this' was playing through his headset =P

From the Bloody Fist Website:
quote: What the f***'s going on with all these TV ads? Somehow or other we've now found ourselves knee deep in negotiations with 'Rockstar Games' in New York. They have decided that they want to use an Aftermath track (from FIST21) as the soundtrack to their forthcoming worldwide TV campaign advertising their new Playstation game called 'Manhunt'. Manhunt is due for release on November the 19th, and the TV ads are due to air worldwide soon after (in theory). More info on the game : here. How did they run across the Aftermath track in the first place? File sharing of course. We'd hereby like to thank anyone who ever ripped NCL TRAX V1.0 to MP3s and shared them around on the net. Keep it up please, our bank accounts are ****ing loving it.
Yes, Rockstar Games did liscence the track
I guess if you make a good track with a good title (in this case Aftermath) and people share it, then there is a chance big nut will download it, like it, and stick it in a game.
Now thats promoting Hardcore within a game.

I certainly don't argee. That point of view is of an elitist. Surely the speedcore and the gabber people must quake in their boots too!! After all, if RockStar Games used a gabber track, the gabber world is doomed to mainstream failure. Of course, your goverment has the RAVE Act, so that helps stifle the scene and the growth of the music.
I had a think about what the US scene needs is unity, and caring about the musc more than they care about money or themselves. Kinda like ants. A single ant will not do much, but a colony of ants, united in purpose, can do just about anything. Like stripping flesh off road kill, eating spiders, even stripping trees. A single ant doesn't care if it hurts itself, or even dies. It cares about its cause.
If only people in the US were the same about it there too.
If you are wondering what I'm doing about the scene? Wait 6 months, I have plans and I'm working on a lot of stuff.

I think it was a load of hog wash.
Lets find what "commercial" means in this sense (not the ads):
quote: Adjective: A money making endeavor that involves a corporation or other formalized group of workers and management working toward the production of goods or services to participate in an economy
So, group of people with a similar mindset with the goal of making money to make money with goods or services. Thats commercial. Damn. Thats like all the record labels out there. There are a group of formalized workers out there for hardcore (promoters, engineers, mastering engineers, label owners, publishers...)
I can hear people say, but a lot of record labels are selling their goods at cost, or even below cost price! They are loosing money!! They really care about getting the music out there
If you cared about getting the music out there, and not about money, you'd give it away for free, not caring about the money.
Lets face it, according to this "commercial" idea, if you expect money from your tunes, you've sold out, you're commercial.
Thats really stupid. What you're saying is that people who work hard at what they do, do not deserve recognition. Utter rubbish.
I'm sick of all the OHNOES!!11 I DONT WHANT HARDKORE TO GO COMMERCIAL!!!111 ITS KILLING THE SCEEENE!!112122121
Its a load of mindless babble from uninformed toddlers.
When you learn how much everything costs, you'll learn that going "commercial" is a good thing. People get paid, and that means they get to eat.
Pisses me off immensly.
