*edit* lucificifus or however u spell it...WHAT THE HELL YOU TALKING about? lol

yea i was thinking about this too.
i mean the word HAPPY and HARDcore...put together. like how contradictory is that!
for example, toytown by hixxy. it's consider under the genre of (happy) hardcore. but it's not all that hard OR really fast. (the into does sound a bit..freeform-ish to me but w/e)
but, some of scott brown's shit it pretty hard. i like! even though it scares me soemtimes. lol

whatever. it aalll sounds good to me. who cares what it's called. it is what it is.

time to be like all the (hot) emo people... HhXc!

hardcore is an old term that is till used to this day because the music grew with the time, i'm sure if you were to listen to moby songs or prodigy songs from back in the day, you wouldn't think they were hardcore either, but thats what they were called.

When his name is Marshal Mathers?

For me, its a sense of identity (which I have been thinking alot about lately). I want to be part of something. Something tight, where me and my p33ps can roll. And where we make music like nothing else.

Kinda like the Bloody Fist crew. But more ravey and less crankypants.

Damn this being human.

Good question, what makes Trance trance? What makes House House? I certainly don't feel like going into property development when listeming to it.

You don't? I like to go shopping for investment properties while listening to deephouse.

I like to do my yoga and meditation to psy trance.

Mind you, I like doing welding to heavy metal.

Note, I don't acutally shop for investment property, do yoga or medition or weld.

"Whistle posse pump it up, mer mer mer mer merp" lol!

Thats HAPPY HARDCORE ANTHEM. How can you not question is that is happy hardcore? THAT IS HAPPY HARDCORE. ANY kind os genre you name what make country? what makes jazz jazz? What makes pop POP? its what vibe and how the music is constructed. I think you guys are over looking the term hardcore. If your hear in america and you say i like hardcore in front of someone who is familiar with dance music they will say oh u like gabber? See with me i automatically think Upfront hardcore. I mean "HARDCORE" (upfront) it has rightfully owned that term in my opinion. Thats just me. What makes it hardcore? well i dunno it all depends on the person. I know where i stand on that term its just harder to actually to make sense of it on the comp*

I'm not questioning that it's "Happy Hardcore", just saying that *ahem* "tunes" like this don't deserve to be called hardcore in the first place.

But when hardcore was branded hardcore it didn't sound like it did today and there were some hard tunes in hardcore back then especially for the times. Then happy hardcore came about taking the hardcore name with it bringing it through to what hardcore is today.
