i was down weatherspoons with a mate all day from 3-10 drinking stella/cobra/krononberg and a pitcher of blue lagoon (don't ask me why, my round he wanted that) and we got something to eat there, ahhh where would we be without the weatherspoons curry club 
£4.49 for any curry served with naan bread, 2 poppadoms some hurrenous mango chutney and a drink.can't beat that with a stick

Have been tee total for 10 months now and dont miss it at all!
dont get me wrong am not knockin any of u as it's ur choice and nothing to do with me but it does become a habit like Hard to get says.

All i can say is i have done bad things under the inflence am not proud of i was drinkin at first to block out the depression i had havin kids at a young age then it got out of control when dad died thankgod my kids werent taken of me and i was gettin support and help regardin my problem and my ex didnt help cos he used to buy it 4 me cos i was so damned depressed with wot he was puttin me though that i drank it like medicine.
Anyway enough of that am here today,happy with my 3 kids tee-total and pattin myself on the back!

It's weird, when I'm in Stirling I hardly ever drink....I've got like 5 beers in the fridge that are at least 6months old, yet, I went home to Fife the other day and all I did was drink for 3 days solid. I think its coz all my old mates are dole-monkeys and don't have anything better to do.

Hahaha,
The not so joy ifound yesterday drinking in the afternoon was i found i was pissed by 6pm and passed out by 8pm and missed the bill!
Still, i havnt lernt my lesson, now where did i put the vodka??

Agghhhh no what you mean there worst mistake you'll ever make is to try and go out after a day session bound to end in tears, passin out by 8 o'clocks the safe option .
Old firm days are the worst especially when they make stupidly early kick off's like half 12 on a sunday. I think the ideas that it'll stop people drinkin before the game but course it jus makes everyone get pissed up by midday and the whole citys chaos  .
Off topic whats the bill like these days? Used to be a class show with don beech cruisin the jasmin allen and the cockcroft crew up to there old tricks, last time i watched it was utter pish though. Seemed to have turned into a soap all the cops were rapin and killing each other, not the way it was meant to be 
Anyway much respect to all those who've stopped drinkin to get on with there lives. had my own problems to get through in past and have to say cant be easy givin up drink in this country with such a social drinkin culture. All i can say is all the best and keep at it.

Ah, where would I be without the wonders of tequila?
I need to go out and buy some mango juice, mix that with tequila straight from the freezer and youve got yourself a heavenly elixir
but drinking in the morning isnt for me.. its just not the right time
it has to be after 6 or so before I start downing a lot

You're not alone on that one, I just cracked open a Stella. It's summer and the weather's been awesome, so drinking in the day can definately be excused. Nothing better than chilling out in the sun with an ice cold beer in one hand and a spliff in the other.
