In the words of my mate Mc XTC, "we used to take pills like they were goin outa fasion" and we truely did, we didnt need a rave to take pills, we took them all the time, shitty friday nights sat on the local golf course could quickly turn into an all out pill sesh.
After a while we needed more and more and became more and more skatty about them, doin them at silly times/places always increacing the ammount we took.
Eventually the effects became more clear to us all, we were paranoid about each other and our own lives and were constantly skatty, i dont know what happened, no decision was made to stop but we just did.
End of the day it was one of the crazyest times i could have had, some funny times and some ****ed up ones but all in all off its tits. Taking pills has contributed to who i am and i take it to heart when people get at people who take them without real justification.
Ill probibily never take a pill again but i still love em, i just realise my time on pills is over.
On the subject of comedowns, two words - Character Building. ;)

But when u say u take it to heart when people get at people with no real justification well hows this?
Ive seen wot the effects of long term use of drugs can do, be it wizz,wacky backy,coke,pills have had friends turn into paranoid people forever snappin at u and losing their sense of humour, being arrogant and cocky all in the name of having a good time!
Wot would u do if someone spiked ur drink in the name of having a good nite out,(havin a laugh on the expense of other peoples downfalls)?

Im currently at the stage of giving up my pill sessions, used to tan em all the time. The reason im doing this is because i was getting weird ****in brain spazms when i tried to get to sleep, they started to intensify and i was getting them randomly during the day, like your brain screaming at you for a split second. Anyway this shit has scared the **** outta me and ive stopped doin em. I aint gettin them anymore now which is all good.
All my m8s still do them tho which is well pissin me off coz i cant go out to town with them or to raves or out. I couldnt hack bein out with them pissed, when theyre all loved up pilled off their tits, lovin it.
Sy is DJ'in in a club where i live on Friday and i know i wont be goin coz ill be tempted to the dark side and i know it ****s me up. If only me m8s wouldnt tan em fer one friggin night. But nah they wont. Its a load of shit, its like im the one abiding by the law but im the one gettin punished. Ah well

Yeah cos they tan them, when i was round there other week jus before uproar they was all tanning them to f**k... me I like my coke and Es... both in very strict moderation... most drugs are okay in strict moderation I believe and can really enhance a night... the only thing i messed up on was weed, which I used to tan all the time... but iv more or less quit that now.

Some of us did pills the rest of our mates bitched at us all the time about it to the point where we fell out over it, if they were true m8's they would have said there part and backed off but it got personal all the time.
People judge you in a harsh way and can say harsh things when the know you use drugs and it aint fair, especially when they dont have the experiance to comment.

I'd be gutted, i dont think its good for people to take drugs either under pressure or without knowing.
Why would someone spike your drink at a rave tho? Wouldnt they just get feshed on there stash rather than throw it away?

spiking drinks is wrong even as a "joke" between mates, its just not funny big clever or cool. drugs arent essential to a good night out at all but theyre definitely good fun, people ask why bother can u not have fun with out them? well yeah but if enjoy what reason is there not to do it (aside from the risks which to be honest if ure gunna avoid all risks better give up drinking smoking pot, going for bike rides, walking, breathing etc.) so yeah thousands of people cant be lying and pretending to have fun!
Theres nothing wrong with the boat those big holes help keep our feet cool.

Drugs, alcohol? Absolute NO for them! I've never taken any drugs, and I won't. Alcohol? I drink sometimes, but never on a hardcore party! I think if someone is a true hardcore fan, then music is his/her only drug and needs no any other things to enjoy his/herself on a party.
Foremore, I can proudly state, that our small raver-community in Hungary is free of drugs. :)

All you have to do is listen to the DJ, and do everything on the record that he plays...

I don't like drugs, but the rest of the people, who see me dancing at the party always ask what I use... Ridiculous, 'cause I've never tried something, and I won't do!
Using drugs is the biggest lie against youself!

and i agree 100%, i never touch hardcore party drugs, wouldnt go near acid or ne of the artificial drugs, no way!

So what is drinking if its not doing drugs then!?
I'd like to say something about this "you do drugs your not a true hardcore fan" crap. I do pills from time to time, why does this mean I’m less of a hardcore fan than anyone else? I mix hardcore, put on hardcore parties, listen to hardcore 24/7 I even keep a ghetto blaster in the boot of my car incase we end up somewhere without a stereo, I have started trying to learn to produce hardcore and have listened to hardcore for the best part of my life (from WAY before I started doing pills!) and just because I drop once or twice a month I’m not a REAL hardcore fan? PAH. So you have never done drugs? Fair play but it doesn’t give you the write to judge millions of people you don't know, does it? Basically stop the high and mighty bollox.
Anyway to answer the original question, no.

Ok, you are a true hardcore fan. But answer the question. Why do you take drugs sometimes? Isn't music enough? Especially hardcore should be more than enough for a real fan! I don't really get it why drugs are needed...
