You mean they don't just speak crap up? They don't freestyle and make up stuff on the spot? Like real (hiphop) MC's? Oh. damn....
Nevertheless you didn't seem to pick up the humour in my post. I think it would be hilariously funny to see a DJ have a biff with an MC on stage. I wonder what the ravers would do.....
But from the event's I've been to they kill it for me.
EG - Alek Szahala at Godspeed. His set was like a journey containing many elements from different styles. He was taking us on a trip. Then out of the blue, some random MC picks up the mic and kills it.
Yes, I know he's Alek Szahala. I know he's from finland. I know its Godspeed. Thats why I paid my $65.
I didn't pay for Alek Szahala and MC flap-jaws. Local MC's shoud never EVER mess with an internationals set.
I can understand that they are part of an act (2DJ's and MC), but when I want to see that, I'll pay for it.
No doubt, any of my live sets will not have an MC, unless its me. I know my material better than anyone. Wouldn't want some upstart killing it for me.
Have you tried using morecore as a mix host?

I just want an oppinion on my music, if you dont like MC's in general than thats ok but not the point of the thread. ryg0r, mate, your out of order, fair enough if it is in jest but i bet people have said to you they dont like your music simply because its hardcore, correct?? i bet you found them narrowminded?? same situation now.
I find the comparrison to hip hop off the point too, can you mix hip hop? Not really, so if thats the case you cant be a hip hop dj???
There are times on that set where we Me N XTC MC then link up with QuincE's scrachin, we involve the dj and he involves us. We dont think of ourselves as individualls more a group. I dont think he finds our MCin a problem, I dj too and admit its harder to mix with an MC but i couldnt rave without one, there like the bridge between the dj and the croud.
I was goin to use morecore but got a message sayin i see dumb people got confused and found essential session, only thing with morecore is ya gota download before ya can listen.
On the Aussie note 1-1 afer the second test. Comon England. No disrespect ryg0r.

Well, MC'ing has its roots buried in hiphop. Thats why I made the comparison. You don't hear MC's in country music... In answer to the question, yes I can mix hiphop. I guess I could be a hiphop dj. But I don't love it like I do hardcore.
Please, please don't post anything about country music. Its from the devil himself, just like disco house. My head splode.
