there is a way, but it isnt as simple as turning a knob. i know someone who has done it to loads of 1210's and nothing has ever gone wrong. he lives near me in cumbria thou so it cud be a pain in the arse. if u want to have a go yourself i can find out exactly how its done and pass the info onto you.
the only problem is that if you pitch yours up, you have to be more accurate with your pitch slider, and if you dj in a club, your gonna have to either take ur decks or use theirs and play at a slower speed which is a bit pointless.
if only you could interchange the pitch sliders between 8/12/16%

I don't like double pitched decks, the pitch control is too sensative, I don't recommend it unless you want to play some really old tunes or something.
To do it you have to take off the metal plator, then there is a plastic case frame you take off with a screw driver then there is a pot you need to turn, I don't know which way but you turn it left or right to make it faster or slower.
it's all hardcore.

i think you use a ameter to check voltages (off what wires i dunno) when u get to a certain reading (pre determined for whatever % pitch u want) u stop turnin, then u do the same for the other deck so its the same..
