actually i would appreciate something like a news/interviews or that kind of stuff...
something like in real radio, not just shoutouts, but something real...
maybe just 5 minute news block a week would do the trick

Exactly!!!!! And you gotta remember how many people support/help the Hardcore DJ's that are on the live show, in their careers. So its only right for them to make plenty of shoutouts.

Myers plays the new popular tunes and scott devotion is without doubt one of the most entertaining hardcore dj's about, real scratchmaster and plays open minded between bangin new stuff and bouncy classics.
Yes they both like to interact with the chat room but thats because they appreciate the listeners, and even though i never go in the chat room cos my work blocks it i think it's quality they chat with the ravers that appreciate there talents and they dont just pre record mixes.
if you enjoy live shows my favourite is dj sytronik's on http://www.hardcoreregime.co.uk/ wednesday from 10 pm gmt. I may be biased cos most the events i attend these days are the london/ essex scene but his sense of humour is always top notch and at events even when a whole night has been quiet his set will rock the place. Personally i'l take a live dj mix over a planned pre recorded one anyday, especially when it's multideck, multi genre master
