Going on the Chavscum webside (About uk thugs) i am sick and tired of poeple showing their ignorence by saying hardcore is crap cheap music that can be made in five minutes and sold in the chardts for money and isnt real music.
Do these so called "Real music fans" even know what they are slagging off? Do they know the diffeence between techno and trance and do they know what a breakbeat is. Not all hardcore tracks are old pop or rock classics and why do they think everyone who listens to hardcore is a chav who will get your 50 cousins onto you iv you look in the direction of their girlfriend.
If you like one kind of music you have to accept other people's points of veiw, we are all different, i am not a thug but i am really into hardcore and i am buying all the bonkers i ca get my hands on coz i love the music! People should stop slagging off hardcore coz it is not going to die out just beacuse sum people dont like it, hardcore is hardcore and it has too many fans for it to be slagged off.
Just wanted to get my point across to the "Real hardcore fans" out there

I think you should get aquainted with the first track of Hixxy's mix of
Bonkers X.... It sums up and agrees with everything you just said... and personally its a message i live by.

Agree with DjDMS on this 1. And they aint gonna make a difference to the scene. U said too many people like hardcore for it to be slagged off, this isnt true, no matter how many people like somethin its always gonna be slaged off if theres another genre of music on this planet. Just remember the people hu slag it off cant change anythin, they can hate it, yell at HT3 when they see it in the shops, and they can start their own crappy little forum, with topics like "doesnt everyone hate hardcore?" and "HTID my ass :( " but they cant do anythin about it, and thats all that matters.

i like getting into and starting a fights so if u wanna call me a thug its up 2 you, but all my mates in bristol are the same and we all listen 2 hardcore. we dont never here no1 slagging off hardcore where we live.

^^^Here in NYC is alot different from UK. Not many ppl know what it is but there are a bunch of those that enjoy Techno, Trance and Drum & Bass.
Evel, I get your point and I agree with you 100% But You gotta accept this and move on. Forget about em cuz hardcore is hard to it core and it just won't die, not as long as were here to keep it alive and well.

People will jusge what they don't understand and what they don't like* If your hardcore than so be it we just have to do what we are doing and keep doing it. I get shit for listening to aelctronica in general you have no ****ing clue how much it makes me an outcast b/c i have no same interest as other people that are around me. so it singles me out but I'm not stop what im doing b/c it kinda puts a damper on things. Why even visit ChavScum and give it hits, that site was once fun where you could go and have a laugh reading through it just laughing at your average Scallys. Cider on the park with Shazza and Darren, the funny language they speak. These days it's, if you wear Tracksuit bottoms you're a Chav if you say the word "init" you are a chav. And if you like any sort of music they hate on that Website like DnB/Rap/Rave or anything not related too Rock or another Genre, you're labeled with being a Chav.
I wear Sports clothes and when a few people seen my picture the other day, the first words out of their mouths was "You're a Chav". And i dislike real Chavs/Scallys, but if that's the way it's going to be then I'll be a Chav and i dont give a toss really.
As for the music, we like and love Hardcore we don't follow the local trends what's on MTV and Kerrang to fit in with everyone. Or listen to it cause our mates do.
Anyway, let them get on with chatting about their "Real music" and let's make our scene Bigger and better then it already is!

good example, the kenyan that I work with loves to get a rise out of people. he says ignorant things just watch how people react to them. some of them are very funny, others are on the verge of offending...
moral of the story, take things in stride and retort to their ignorance with laughter =P

People are always going to be judging one thing or another, and either slagging it or praising it. If you love your hardcore then it wont matta wat other people think.
Put it this way i dont know if you have a girlfriend or not but lets say you do and some guys tell you that they think she is an ugly mole and that you can do better.....but u kno deep in ur heart that u love her more than anything.
Would u stop dating/loving her because of what some people think
