I like the older beats, like Hixxy's older stuff, beats you could hear even with low bass, don't like too much of Styles and Breeze's newer stuff that much but he meain reasen is beacuse the beats are way to soft and quiet IMO but they have done harder stuff, one reasen I like old skool is beacuse of the beats, the drum sound, I know i'm listening to hardcore when I can hear hard and fast beats but with some (but not all) newer hardcore I get confused wondering if it is hard house, pretending to be hardcore or vise versa, just my opinion though
Funny I have rythems I havn't used yet

I don't think- It's quite clear the newer beats are harder. Bouncy doesn't mean hard, those tracks you listed are soft compared to their newer kick(s).

Im going with CLSM too. As people have mentionned, there is so much variation and nothing feels over used. Top quality hardcore!

Sorry to quote you on this but are you asking who uses your favourite kicks and percussion? well Im pretty sure all producers mentioned have all used the same kicks at some point and same percussion as all tracks have these???
so what you are really asking is who do you think has the best sounding whole tracks, as in "Their own sound" each person you mentioned have their own main sound on their labels that progress each year but all use seperate percussion and kicks that will most probably been re used a 1000000 times

I have to disagree with you there lee.
While yes, hihats and rides are pretty much from the TR-909 kit, I prefer to generate my own kicks and manipulate and distort my own claps.
But then adding my own custom made loops, I have a unique beat that no-one will have.
As for re-using it 1000000 times, I try and build everything from scratch for each tune.

Yes I know what you mean I worded it wrong I guess,
The question just seemed too broad I think what he was getting at was who has the best sound as no one will pick the best percussion (usually unless your musically buffed ;)) You do get alot of percussion and effects used by the same producers but everyone does as you say make them themselves etc aswell
