how do artist in hardcore and harddance do live pa sets? i dont get it how it works? do they just load the songs in the computer on stage and play it? i know its not that simple but ive never seen one or have any idea how they accomplish this.
if i get good enough in 10 years i would like to do 1 :)

Some people actually play on hardware synths the best act ive seen being lab 4 they were awesome! have also seen evolution crew with a synth on the go. I am interested to know what is "live" about the other live P.A.s though as it just seems like they are mixing through a laptop?

using software you can drop different layers in and out of a live sequence...
so imagine the act has arranged all the different samples, drum patterns and melody patterns... he can either rehearse what he wants to do or do it live through improvisation.
On top of that you can drop effects into selected or all the layers.
