the first one has been covered so many times so i couldnt pin point the exact version you heard, but the orginal hardcore version was by Orca and called, quite simply, 4 0'clock....

Orcas '4am' is available on white vinyl although I believe it does appear on one of Ratpacks Old School classics CD comps as well.
