Over the past few months I have noticed a shift in towards 'Darkcore' by a lot of artists. United In Dance for example, their first release "Still The One" was a brilliant effort, but after their poor attempt at covering Force&Styles' Shining Down, there next effort was in my opinion 'Darkcore'. Now no offence to all you 'Darkcore' fans out there I like a bit myself but i feel that there is less and less 'Happy' Hardcore out there than ever before. I think we need more uplifiting hardcore, tunes to really rival the new 'Bouncy House' Revolution. Now I am not saying that we should create 'Bouncycore' or anything but some good old fasioned uplifting feel good hardcore couldn't hurt. I would be interested to hear what anybody else thinks on the subject.

mate, i agree 100%
i think these days the artists seem to be competing, for hte spot light, and in doing so, they are all kinda copying the darker sounds of hardcore...i love all hardcore. happy hard, dark, i love it all, i WOULD love to hear my happy, as it is my preference, and its soo good, to be able to chuck onto ur mp3 or ipod and walk wround, with ACE beats in ur head, mm
i deffinatley think we nee haaaaappppppyyyy hardcore..

Just because a track may be slightly darker than the most uplifting hardcore doesn't make it Darkcore, not by a long shot.
