anyone got a cure? i find a lot of the next gen /bb white labels are very very slippy, as in you put your finger on them and they stop.

anyone know how to stop this? its anoying because most of my music on those labels are promos

i know what you mean, but personaly i don't see how it is a real issue. I mean sure the record won't be started exactly where you want it to be but nothing 5 secs wont fix.

I had the same problem with mine, most of the NG and BB are warped as of late, they really need to get their shit together... basically before I play one of them I have to bend them the opposite direction to the warp really hard so that they don't have that effect.

Ruboy and Xavi Tracker's Passwords EP for me is SUPER slippery, not warped, its a really good vinyl, but still, its REALLY hard to cue because it slips so much!

the only solution really to it is to try and warp the record in the other direction, that or get really steady hands =P

you can try setting several records or something heavy on top of the record to try and flatten it out.

most of the cases in which a vinyl is slippery is due to one side of the vinyl touching the plate mainly at the center/spindle area.

or you can try tighting up the spindle hole by puting several pieces of tape in it until it is snug.

No, he does. Fix the spindle hole and you'll be sweet.

Here is a link to a tutorial on fixing warped records.
Might be worth a try on an old record to see if it works.
